Did you get head pressure tested ? You will need to get a sniff test ( block test )carried out .

when you had the head off you shouldve had it keak tested and checked for cracks,this would`ve shown anything up,

the garage which done the gaskit recon they pressure tested and ok

If that was o.k , the other common fault is the oil cooler .
