osr door wont open,sdl motor is working,have removed door trim and tried disconnecting and reconnecting lock motor wiring plug.unable to get access to lock,only way i can see of getting into lock is by smashing plastic cover off and trying to get to latch,has anyone come across this problem?

Hi,
The most common failure on Zafira central locking is the harness coming from the car and going into the door, due to the angle and constant opening and closing, the wires have a tendency to break. The wiring is accessible with the front doors open and is usually repairable.
