2001 Vauxhall Zafira engine management light on rev up and down on idle

when i start my car i have to rev it then the rev,s go up and down so i either have to rev it til it runs ok but when i drive it its fine apart from when on tickover exhaust making a spitting noise only when on tickover though and the engine managment light on all the time.

Could be coil pack or other possible causes , best bet to get a diagnostic scan and see what codes are shown .

check your intake pipes are secure and in good condition,could be a idle control valve issue,get your fault codes checked
