2001 Vauxhall Zafira central locking problems.... help!!!

ok i have a vauxhall zafira and its on a 2001 plate. im having a problems with the central locking. when i got the car all the central locking was working ok. after about a year and a half of having the car someone had a pop at the door lock
(with a srewdriver) if you know what i mean. i fixed the door lock and handle. aok . but the central locking on one of the back doors Stoped working.. after aweek or 2 none of the back was working on the centrals. the front doors are fine. today i tryed to open the car none of the doors opened apart from the boot. when i went back to the car the centrals worked again all but the back doors. ( back doors still dont work) can anyone Help!! or had the same problem. Thanks

A common fault is the wiring harness where it passes through the door frame breaking , could check that .

If not fault with wiring , probably lock solenoids / actuators knackered . Case of pulling off door trims etc. and checking if power getting to locks.

i know that the rear doors wiring harnesss breaking was a problem on astra h and zafira b.as advised check the fuses first,it might be worth disconnecting the wiring harness to the doors,could be a dirty or loose connection and then check the wiring going to the cdl motors,if you have live and earth it is your cdl motors at fault.if you have no live or no earth then its a case of tracing the wiring back
