could be a fault with the immobiliser in the anti theft system, may need a visit to your main dealer for them to run a diagnstic check.the alarm ecu may just need an update.if not an anti theft fault the diognostic check will pick up what is causing the problem & what system its in

Hi I have taken your advice, went to my vauxhall dealer 1st we had to apply for the vehicle codes before they could up-date the immobiliser, they checked and up-dated the car, tried to start the car and it would not start, they advised me it could be the ABS Ecu is there anyway I can get this checked before I buy one as they did not guarantee this would cure the stating fault thanks man2man
