2000 Vauxhall Zafira code showes fuel volume regulator controle open circuit

my code reader that i plug into my vauxhall zafira1.6.16v.petrol car states that there is aopen circuit on the fuel volume regulator control .can you tell me were this part is and how to fix it please

ZAFIRA 1.6 PETROL MANAGEMENT CODE 01?
My Zafira 1.6 petrol developed engine management problem. Fault code comes as 01 on EOBDII memo scanner.
The code reader states"code 01"
According to code book P0001 Generic Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit open" and U0001 generic is High Speed CAN Communication Bus.
Don't know which one is correct and how to resolve it.
Took my car to local garage who stated it is an unknown code. Checked with Vauxhall mechanic who stated they have never heard of the code.
Any help would be most appriciated.
Anyone know where to locate Fuel Volume Regulator on the engine?
Any help to resolve the management light will be appriciated.
I have change Fuel Filter, spark plug, oil & oil filter (small service) but the fault is still there.

code shows 01 as above fuel volume controle open circuit .posted early question car starts missfireing when it gets hot .answer was ignition modual will be fitting another one shortly to see if the problem goes
