Have lost owners hand book
have red triangle with car skidding in it appearing on dash display
this flashes on /off occasionally
any one know what this means so i can fix myself ?

Sounds like it is the ice warning light , that's is why it is coming on and off .

its the traction control light it comes on when computor detects skiding to tell you its working to stop ypur skid

Ignore my earlier reply , stupid answer ,wasn't thinking when posted .As "mr suzuki " suggests , it will be the traction control light .
