2007 Vauxhall Zafira whinning noise when accelerating

hi, does anyone have any ideas that when i come to accelerate just after the gears have been changed (more so in 1st and 2nd gears)that there is a slight whinning/whirling noise, its more annoying than anything else, but will it become a mayor problem if i leave it? would like to get it sorted while its still under warrantry.

Could well develop , as you say , get in for inspection whilst still under warranty .
