Vauxhall Zafira (ecm) fun & games

Model Year: 2009
ECM, cut off com"s with crank signals for good. Now long crank & rough idle. Down under the sensor became loose so, not sure if that caused the ECM to spike. I had this ECM repaired in 2019 not sure of cost at the time. The lowest cloned unit i can get today is £180. Anyone know of a cheaper fix. Thanks.

Sure that is what is causing your problem ? Unusual for symptoms you describe .

Hi. Replaced crank sensor (that was covered in oil) with a new one. Tested old one and it was ok. Still engine light on (spanner one) and long crank, slight missfire happening also. Thanks.

If your year has an external fuel filter , change that . Check coil pack , plugs . Check / clean MAF .

Forgot to mention the tacho did not budge whilst cranking either. ECM now in post to docs. Will re-post when i get it back for anyone following. Thanks.
