I have a Zafira b which has just over 100k with the cam belt and water pump recently done. The car has a sound like a train/flapping when driving and this noise stops when you put in the clutch. The gears work fine. It drives ok and no noise sounds when idling. Does anyone know what it could be?

Without hearing the noise , really hard to suggest possible cause .Engine , transmission , suspension , brake noise ? Front , rear , tyres , wheel bearings ?

This would seem to be coming from the engine gearbox area, any things to check off a list would be great, as I said it drives normally just noisy

Hi, my Zafira is doing the exact same thing. Did you ever find out the cause? Thanks for your time.
