2003 Vauxhall Zafira water in footwell

Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Year: 2003
Variant: 1.8 elegance
I am a lady driver and had the car since new. The sponge underneath of the floor on the driver side is absolutely saturated. I got someone to seal the sun roof some 6 months ago which appeared to work but the problem has arisen again. What is the best permanent way to seal the sun roof so that it can never be accidentally opened again by a third party. To correct the existing problem what is the quickest way to dry out the floor out as I am worried it will rust and cause dmage to the floor of the car.

It may not be your sunroof again . It could be the bulkhead water drains which are a very common cause of water leaking into the car interior .There are drains in each corner to take away the water running down the windscreen . These drains get clogged up with leaves etc and need cleaning out by pushing down a stiff wire or similar to clear . The water usual comes out the wing arch lining at the bottom through a slit / gap but this often needs clearing from below also as it can get blocked . The only video I can find at the moment showing drain locations is for a Zafira B but should be similar on your car .
