Checked the plug on that cyl ? Check ALL earth connections , especially from engine to body and coil pack connections .

Thanks. for yr reply. I was thinking that the transistor the tells 4 to fire has gon eshort cicuit so the coil primary is enegised 100% of time (which it is not rated for) Where is the firing circuit? In the ECU.

Anything's possible , including your theory .Usually in the ECU .
