Lossing oil

my zafira is loosing oil without showing signs of a leak and no real smoke problems however it can loose 2 litres of oil in as little as 50 miles.it also judders a little at low speads.any help or advice would be greatly recieved.

Have you checked your spark plugs as if its burning that much oil there should be a build up of ash on the plugs.
The oil just cant dissapear so it must be going somewhere, my guess is that it is being burnt in the engine.

If its not dropping it it must be burning it and for that amount you must be trailing blue smoke, I would say you have stuck or broken piston rings for that amount of oil.(Very Rare on those engines)
