a smell in the car like eggs when i turn heating blower on could this be the (cat) or dose the air con need re-gassing I don't use the air con but it share the same thing just a different button.

Rotten egg smell is usually from a defective Cat.

as its a Zafira I would be checking the fan resistor...

This is a long shot but I had the same problem not long after I bought the car. It turned out to be some VERY stale water in the washers. We changed it and the smell went away As I say long shot but you never know
