2015 Vauxhall Zafira navi 650 will not clear bluetooth list

I have a navi650 as standard and it works but i have a new phone so need to delete the 5 listed on the cars screen but I follow the instructions and delete a phone from the pairing list and it simply stays on the screen ,all the screen shows is a list of paired phones and the option below that one to pair a phone.
When i try to pair a phone it says " can not pair as maximum number of phones is 5 .
So trying to get rid of the other 5 paired devices but the screen simply freezes as i try to delete it. they is no other options on the screen i can pick from like re setting the bluetooth etc...any advice appreciated
