I have a Vauxhall zafira B my problem is driving along and then it just cuts out. but starts up straight away. then the light on the dash comes on (the one with the spanner )some times it will smoke before it cuts out. but it will start up straight away.

You need to get it scanned to see what's triggered the light .When was fuel filter last changed ?
