2005 Vauxhall Zafira climate control not working

From info supplied , hard to diagnose but could be blower regulator resistor (Hedgehog).

You mentioned the resister, I should have mentioned that the only part on the centre consol working is the stereo , not even the monitor works all the lot just went off and nothing since I had dianostic test , and every part on my car is talking to the dianostic except I.e the climate control rear dmister and monitor. Have you double checked the fuses in the fuse box in the rear ?

I will check them again ,my mind been on the fuses all the time that's why I thought relay cuz the fuses seemed ok . Thank you for your time regards pete

Relay is on box located in the boot - it is the centre one of the three.

Also check fuses 33 and 50

I'm still ere, I would like to say to you all for giving your time to answer my problem, I've checked fuse 33 but don't have a 50 all seems fine , and first light I will look at the relay you mentioned, I would like you to ponder over this , every thing on the climate controler don't work , that then leaves the monitor, right if the controler its self gives the monitor its power" that's if " and nothing works on the controler its self, then could it be possible the unit its self could be knackered

Can I just thank everyone for the help I'm receiving , I've tried the fusers again but they are fine could it be the controller it self as I've tried everything plus nothing works on that unit ie rear dimistor also does the controller supply power to the monitor as that does not work

If these faults occurred after getting the diagnostic scan , take it back to whoever carried scan out and complain .If air con is low on charge it wont work . Kwik fit do a recharge or no charge deal on air con .Are you certain all these faults happened at the same time ? Rear demister can fail due to broken wiring where it passes through into top of tailgate .

Just had an idea , your car / air con has not been set to eco mode ?

Go into manual settings screen for climate control and check what is switched on / off .May have switched off in error .

I can't look or do anything with the climate control there's seems to be no power to the controller in the centre dash the only thing that works is the radio,I'm assuming without power to the contols that the monitor wouldn't work?

Even if you push centre button ? From manual ,

Electronic Climate Control settings can be
changed via the centre knob, the buttons
and the menus shown on the display.
Press the centre knob to call up the menu.
The menu for manual E lectronic Climate
Control settings appears in the display.

I don't have the monitor that went off the same time as the climate control

Getting back to basics , this all started when diagnostic scan was carried out . Why was it scanned ? who carried out the scan ?

No i had the diagnostic done because it went off, everything on the car talks except the climate control he did say try the fusers i did he said the relay but cant find it .

Getting me lost now .One post says " all the lot just went off and nothing since I had dianostic test " .Who done the scan ? was it a garage? Why did they not check for the fuse they suggested , unprofessional not to .

Gave up on waiting for reply on questions about the scan I asked about .According to schematic I have on fuses for that car ,there are numerous fuses linked to the problem and ALL must be o.k in the circuit .Surprised you have not had any replies from the Zafira forum that you have posted on .As info asked for in relation to scan seems not to be forth coming , I will end my input on this .

Sorry its took so long to reply but had a job todo for ex wife whoes .been a bloody pain in the arse , let me get it right, i was coming home one night and i noticed the screen steaming up thats when i noticed the monitor not on i tried the climate control unit to see if i could clear the screen but nothing, so i switched the stereo on good that came on but the monitor didt , so a friend of a friend got this guy who does know his job hes the one they call out on new cars that are least from vw , on his diagnostic every about my car comes up even the condition oil everything except the climate, he surgestered the fuses and if not them trt conections then relay and if still nowt the unit it self, but i cant find the relay so this is where im at now. it does sound like a fault with the climate ecu itself
