2007 Vauxhall Zafira air bag light??

I noticed the other day that my airbag warning /seatbelt tensioner light comes on any time between as soon as I start my car to after a min or so off starting it and stays on till I turn the car off?I have never had any bumps in it and have owned the car for 4 years?? So I was wondering if there could be any silly reasons it's comming on that I could check before I folk out for a garage to check?and also should I expect to pay thousands to fix the fault lol????

Don't go thinking the worst,
get it scanned first,
the lamp is on so there will be a fault code registered.

Could well be a wiring connection issue with the under seat connectors but you would still require to get it scanned a friendly mechanic may help with this.
