Whistling/whining sound as engine is revved or speeds up

As I start to rev the engine up or speed up when driving I start to hear a loud whistling/whining sound within the car and engine block when bonnet is up

It has been mentioned that the turbo maybe damaged, anyone any ideas?

That could be a bearing noise from your alternator, or other component,only way to locate is by removing the belt and checking for roughness in individual pulleys.
