Keeps losing power and juddering

2001 Vauxhall Zafira 1.8 elegance petrol
Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Year: 2001
Variant: 1.8 elegance petrol
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi all,

I have a 2001 Zafira 1.8 Petrol that is loosing power intermitently.
I have researched the internet for possible problems and have taken the car to a garage where they cant find the problem!
I have changed the fuel filter, MAF sensor, timing belt, water pump everythink but no joy.

The symptoms are loss of power whilst driving, and juddering decelerates...i can put my foot to the floor when this happens but the accelerator is unresponsive. The only way to right it when driving is to come off the pedal then back on then it kicks back in.

I have heard lots about the EGR but my zafira doesn't have one. No lights come on the dash when this problem occurs, and the garage gets no error codes when linked up to the computer.
I am at a complete loss, so any help would be appreciated. i have read it could b the brake switch wat do use think or the fule pump needs cleaning any ideas
