Orange engine light on car won't start

The orange engine light came on then two days later it lost all power and won't start,it turns over ok but nothing the garage put a diagnostic on said it was coil pack I've changed this but it's still the same now there saying it's the ecu which needs to be sent away could it poss be something else before I fork out all this money

A lot of zafira issues do point to a faulty engine ECU. NOT! Main ECU
Have you taken the coil pack out and tried turning the car over with plugs attached to see for spark?
Apart from lenthly diagnostics and fault finding that would be the first route to go, most reputable ECU repairers will test theecu for you and only charge a nominal fee if it all passes.
A new coil pack can also be faulty, I have had many new parts fail out of the box
