Keeps losing power wen driving

Checked/ replaced fuel filter and plugs ?

hi i have changed the plugs but will try changing the fule filter tomoz if it keeps doing it any other ideas thanks

Would have suggested coil pack but you say it has been changed .Might be worth getting it scanned and see if any fault codes .

Ye i put a new coil pack on an wen i put my girlfrieds dads rac diagnostics in no folts come up at all someone said it could b the cam or crank sensor could that make it do it as it seems to do it after about 20 min ov driving its driving me mad now

Crank sensors can fail when heated up but causes engine to stop .Cant remember if it was that car that had problems with cam sensor wiring .

If i change the cam sensor will the wires b on that if not how do i check the wires

Vauxhall zafira 1.8 idle / Cam sensor fault



Afternoon all. I replaced the cam belt on an 03 plate 1.8 petrol and now it's rough idling and bring up cam sensor fault. I rechecked the timing, (spot on) but did notice the wiring in the sensor had bared wires so I replaced, but still the same. Does anyone know the trigger wire colour and what voltage you are meant to get. I have one earth 5 volts on one and only 2.5 coming out.

wen i done the peddle test it came up with theys code p1130 wat dose it mean as i put new 02 sensors on witch one is it top or bottom and p0420 is this one because of the first one

Zafiras are prone to lots of gremlins and false error codes. Trust me I've been thru it. Changed everything and still wasn't right. Turned out to be the engine loom connector. Its on top of the engine on the right hand side iirc. It has bad connectioins inside making the edcu think everything is going crazy.

Iirc , sorry means if I remember correctly. Part listed as 1.8 but mine was a 1.6 and is the same
