2003 Vauxhall Zafira limp home mode

I would check / replace plugs if needed . Likewise with coil pack which gives problems .

Just had a service and coil pack has been changed about four months ago

Check / replace fuel filter .Check cat .

There,s a few issue,s with these such as air idle control systems clogged up causing vehicle to stall usually as you are about to stop at a junction ,would depend on your engine type,check vauxhall forums for more info.

hi, just looking for a solution to my problem with my zafira. 1.6 2004. you had problem back in March 14. i too have the same problem. could i ask did you root out the problem? ( was it the ECU, as i have been told? ) thanks.

HI just logged in after long absence, came up against you"re problem. Yes it was the ECU. After a lot of poch with trying to get the ECU fixed (as they promised me )( then believing they fixed it, so tried replacing air intake off 3 different cars ) I took it to a garage that knew what they were doing. I contacted ECU"s TO GO and they sent me another one with transponder and chips. worked like a dream after. So if you got them codes! you know what it is. Only the garage got them codes, RAC did not. cost £45. good luck.
