warning light with spanner comes on not all the time but when it does the revs seem to go up and down as so far as it seems it wants to cut out no loss of power at all no codes showing as well

Should have stored a code if light on . Check all vac / breather hoses for leaks .

As already suggested would be looking for fault code first.

cam sensor dont put aftermarket part they dont last long had two aftermarket ones both lasted 3mths got vauxhall one 77 notes aftermarket around 50notes been ok for over a year now turn it off lamp out drive ten yards lamp on revs up and down and suddleny only drives at 30 mph

have had diagnostic check done result is throttle body malfunction wil try fixing myself but is there anything i need to be wary of first
