2001 Vauxhall Zafira egr valve fault

Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Year: 2001
Variant: 1.6 16v
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
the engine management light was on and i went and plugged the diagnostic computer in and it came up with an EGR valve fault so i changed the valve and a few dags later it came up with the same fault an then i put another new EGR valve in and it is still showing the same fault and i don't have a clue what else it could be.

The two codes that are showing is 1404 which no one know what it is not even the mechanics at vauxhall, but its saying EGR sensor and the other code is 1405 which is the EGR valve

think that code relates to egr valve i know you have fitted new valve but are all pipes clear of carbon to allow valve to operate properly

Check your Turbo boost pressure sensor, If the 2 pipes are at the top it is upside down and water will be the filter, The 2 days later I bet it rained hard

Remove the cap, Dry out the filter, fit the unit with pipes AT THE BOTTOM, and this should cure the problem

Good luck
