when accelerating from lights getting like tapping noise in 1st and 2nd gear when in 3rd noise seems to dissapear its doing my head inn

I had a simaler problem, I found the problem being on my car was the bracket that held the exhurst system in place connected to the gearbox had split, I ran a bead of weld across the split, My Problem Solved, Hope this helps.
