2006 Vauxhall Zafira engine fault

Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.8
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
When the car starts it often struggles to move, we had a mobile mechanic out who diagnoses-ed it being the gearbox, we had a gearbox specialist out who said it was not the gearbox, it is a problem which seems to affect acceleration, sometimes it is straight away other times it happens a while later, could it be a blockage ore the egr.
