Surging throughout the rev range

2005 Vauxhall Zafira zafira life 1.6
Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Year: 2005
Variant: zafira life 1.6
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi, can anyone help me with a surging problem. Car has had new plugs and coil in the last 100 miles due to a misfire and matching fault code. Since then it surges at idle and when throttle applied and when lifting off. Happens every 10 seconds approx and there are no fault codes coming on. Has been back on diagnostic laptop and no faults detected on live stream either. Any ideas please.

Check all vac hoses / pipes for leaks .

Thanks, I will check those. Do you think it could be a leak or a blockage?

More likely to be drawing air from leak at vac/ breather hose or pipe than blocked .

I checked all the hoses and pipes but nothing there so gave my local dealer a call who very kindly diagnosed the fault over the phone after hearing the symptoms. All fixed, new rocker cover with built in breather, completely blocked up with sludge and carbon. Engine had started to whine as well. New cost £135 from dealer.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
