When the car gets to normal running temp a light comes up on the dash.

That symbol indicates a fault in the vehicle ,advise you get the codes read .

How much dose it cost to read the codes

To actually just read the codes will only take max of 20mins so there should not be a great cost attached to this but if you actually want an answer to the fault most cars ,if you get a good code can be diagnosed within the hour.The cost would depend on the garages hourly rate.or do you have a mechanic friend who can read the codes .
