2008 Vauxhall Zafira passenger side rear door won't lock
Year: 2008
Variant: 1.9 CDTI
All other doors apart from the passenger rear. Only started today. No way to manually lock it so it is constantly open???

Looked into the problem and narrowed it down to the wiring loom. Where it passes out of the main chassis and into the door it had severed a wire in two. I had to choc block them back together as that is all i had to hand. Would be better to online crimp it. Very bad design to have the loom get damaged this way. If you get a problem like this look at the wiring first as i near replaced the door solenoid!

i too have the same problem on the rear passengers side with the door not locking once the central lock has been pressed but I've also the added problem that the window doesn't work in that door as well
