2000 Vauxhall Zafira disconnecting hoist

If the hoist is an addition to the vehicle (For mobility scooters etc) The Fitter may of used scotch locks, Blue things that the original car wire will pass through and the wiring for the hoist (one for each wire) these can be unclipped using small flat ended screwdriver with care. leave the earth wire till last (Brown). The wiring will be behind one of the panels close to the hoist. The additional fuse box is located on the nearside (Passenger) in boot behind removable panel on some models so this is a good place to start your search. After splicing open the clips the original wire will have what looks like a bite mark in them, these will need insulating individually.
