Engine management light stays on and cars slugg ish

The eml stays on and drives sluggish when u drive in 3rd gear it goes like its guna cut out.

it sounds like its in limp mode this is the engine management stopping you driving to far and doing damage first point of call is get it to the garage and get the codes read because you could spend a small fortune playing the geussing game

Sometimes on older Zafiras the engine management cuts in for no reason-ie there is no underlying fault- if you turn the engine off while the car is moving and switch it back on the car returns to normal
