2006 Vauxhall Zafira twanging noise from front suspension

Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.9 cdti man
Categories: Leaks & Noises
When turning the steering there is a twanging noise coming from the front suspension, it happens when the car is stationary and also in motion, it does'nt change if the car is running or not. The tyres are in good condition, i have just replaced both lower wish bones but feel it could be something to do with the top of the springs, can anyone help and advise please.

check to make sure you do not already have a broken spring. if springs ok it sounds like a seized top mount bearing which will need sorting or the result will be a broken spring
