i have a engine man light on has been diognosed with 5 faults the car runs sometimes it dies on me and wont drive when it does drive it revs too much when u change geare

it sounds as if you have a problem with idle control valve but possible fault with air flow meter/throttle. what were the fault codes recorded

it had 5 faults but my mac has them i know 2 were both lamber sencers but i know one had been changed

the problem is the main fault will probably bring up the others and with out fault codes it is a bit of a guess.

the chap who has done it has all the 5 fault codes but is not sure off the problem

you really need to find out what all the fault codes are and wether they are present or historic codes, each code is likely to be related to the same fault.
