Get the codes read sounds like something sticking or temp. related e.g.r. or other.But start with code read.

do i have to take it to a vauxhall garage to get codes as they took ages and cost loads last time i had a problem even fitted parts that didnt fix the problem and still charged me,,,daisy

no you can do it yourself you can buy a code reader from ebay or like i did from argos hope this helps

You can go to any garage that has correct equipment to diagnose / read faults .Just a case of asking them , would be worthwhile checking crankshaft sensor .
