2000 Vauxhall Zafira engine running

the cam belt snapped on my zafira bending all 16 valvs anyway my machanic has replaced all valves and everything associated along with cam belt and complete kit and everything else, it wouldnt start for a couple of days because of some hydrolic lifters or something like that, its now running but runs perfect in the morning when its cold but as soon as it warms up it runs crap as if there is too much petrol or its not burning the petrol properly its like spluttering when you rev it, please please please any help would be a life saver, rick

Check engine coolant temp sensor , this lets ECU how much fuel needed . Check coil pack and make sure timing was set up o.k .

did your mechanic replace the oil and was it the correct grade?

yes my machanic did change the oil and the right grade

you need to start with a code read and see the results, was the car running fine prior to the work being carried out, if so its unlikely a component has failed while being worked on, it most likely your mechanic has essembled it incorrectly or has left something off or connnected something up the wrong way, double check valve timing aswel
