2000 Vauxhall Zafira my zafira seems to judder on take off and flat spot

hi,
basically when i pull away it judders a bit and when i am in 2nd gear upwards it has a big flat spot on acceleration. i have cleaned the egr valve and changed the plugs and noticed that on the thread of one of the plugs a fair bit of oil but it werent on the prongs at the bottom of the plug, i have been told it could be the rocker cover gasket as it werent on the sparking end could this be the reason? any help is appreciated thank u

Could be the very common coil pack causing misfire / flat spot .

ok cheers will price up a coil pack and try that thank u for answering, and do u know where the maf sensor is located please?? thanks 2 both for responding

sorry i know what u mean by MAF sensor now lol will give it a clean and see how that goes. thanks again :)

my car too judders i took it to garage at hunslet in leeds they said we will test drive it the idiot said theres nothing wrong with it you need to give the veh some acceleration each time you set off rev it before releasing the clutch these are your top mechanics i said it was the clutch but they disagreed im no mechanic but hell they know how to fog you off it was under warrenty at time now they are refusing point blank to fix car as warrenty run out and car now 6 yr old they arnt interested so 5 yrs with several problems each time not willing to fix it vauxhall are a joke they call them field problems unless every body complains they will not recall veh to repair thre problem anybody had theres done and what did it cost to replace clutch plates as there is a mod kit supposedly
