2003 Vauxhall Zafira engine management light come on

Will need to get a diagnostics scan to find out what the problem is..

Would think it would be more likely to be coil pack ,which is a very common fault also check plugs at same time .

diagnose veh simple dont take to garage yet follow this guide to get fault code get in car push brake and accelerator to floor at same time keep depressed at same time turn ignition on to full dont fire engine up only till dash lights up watch eng management light illuminate then flash 3 times then a code will appear in milage unit get a pen take down number continue to depress it will flash once then again 3 times if another fault a second code will appear garuntee to work then go on to internet look up engine management codes for vaxhall it will tell you web site to visit look down for your fault number then you will know whats wrong saves 80 for vauxhall to do it inform garage and they will instruct you as to what needs then to be done if changing lamba sensors do not buy the cheaper version the ones you want can be found by looking again on internet under lamba sensor it will tell you how there made what causes faults and best sensor for the job you will be supprised just what causes a lamba sensor to fault, rods leaking faulty fuel injectors air leak sensor failure type of fuel put into car dont use fuel injector cleaners etc its mind blowing i looked it up and was very supprised let me know how you get on

I drove my zafira for around 10 mins and suddenly it cut out! I tried to start it but just turned over but would not start. I noticed when i turned the ignition on the engine management light did not come on with the other lights. I tried again but no joy. I waited for arround an hour and turned the ignition on and the engine managment light did come on with the other lights and it then did start! I can't now drive the car for long until it cuts out and would not start again until the engine managment light comes on.
I have tried the pedal test but nothing flashes or any readings.
Could this be the immobiliser?
Please can anyone help?
