STOP & OIL WARNING DASH LIGHTS

2006 Vauxhall Vivaro 1.9vCDTi
Car: Vauxhall Vivaro
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.9vCDTi
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi everyone,
New to the site and having read quite a bit I see that there are some very knowledgeable people here who are great problem solvers. My problem is that having not driven my Vivaro for a couple of weeks (XMAS) I return to driving it and the red STOP and OIL light on the dash illuminate. When I start the van they go out and if I change gear before 1800rpm they stay off but once I rev over this figure they come on and stay on. There is plenty of oil, I oil and filter change at least every 6000 miles and always use engine flush as well. The vehicle drives fine, no loss of power or anything of note to mention. Will flush and drain at the weekend and change the oil and filter again but would be interested to hear all your comments/advice. Many thanks and a happy new year to you all.

Might just be a faulty oil level sensor .

P.S

Happy new year , all the best .

I should add that there is an electronic oil level bar gauge that is located between the rev counter and speedo and comes on with the ignition and shows (in my case) that the oil level is max (as it shows on the dipstick). Looking more closely, the lights come on when the rev counter hits 2000 rpm, not 1800 rpm, which, coincidentaly, is when the turbo kicks in (and continues to do so).
