2015 Vauxhall Vivaro lights come on automatically

My head lights come on automatically, I don’t have this feature on my van, to reset the lights you have to stop turn engine of and wait, then start again, the lights might come back on within 5 mins or two days you never know, spoken to the garage and Vauxhall’s customer services, and they have told me it’s a software issue, I thought fantastic plug it in job done, but no Vauxhall have no fix for this or in the future, any suggestions as it’s doing my head in now, my main concern is if I am at a junction and they come on automatically and a car thinks I am flashing them out( I no this is Not in the Highway Code, buts always done) I will end up smashing into a car, Vauxhall have said they will take no responsibility for this
