2004 Vauxhall Vivaro no power cold start light on

The orange cold start light comes on and can't rev the engine over 200 revs, feels like it might cut out. if you stop and start the light goes out until I accelerate then comes on again. Splutters as I drive and have little power which is putting me on edge as I think it is going to cut out all the time. Can it be repaired?

Your cold start light is double duty,
it also comes on because there is an engine management fault so first step is get it code read.
For accuracy only read it with Vauxhall or Renault diagnostics as result with other readers can be misleading.
