can anyone help ,vivaro 2.5 was makeing a slight knocking from the top but when you listernd from the bottom you would hear it just the same then the van just cut out and wouldnt fire back up ,a freind hsa looked at it and he says theres no compression its hard to find someone these days to do a job properly without chargeing a fortune can anyone give me any clues pls.

Not sure what's fitted on that , but cam belt / timing chain gone ?
