Mass air flow sensor

It is in the garage right now and they have fitted a new air flow sensor .
I drove it a few miles down the road and the light came on and went into limp mode.
Can you help?

Take it back to the garage,
And if the same code is back get them to check the wiring harness to the MAF.
It can chafe where it "fits" under the air cleaner plastic housing.
