2006 Vauxhall Vivaro leak of fluid

I fitted a new starter motor on to my Vauxhall Vivaro van but it doesn't fully tighten on to the fixed nut on the pipe that comes from the fluid reservoir so it still leaks fluid. Does anyone have any ideas how to stop this?

Sorry but you've got me stumped,
All I remember about that operation was a lot of bad language from me about tight access.
Not my fav starter to replace.
But fluid res'?

Hi ya thanks for coming back to me. Its the fluid from the gear/transmission that goes into the starter motor - seems to leak constantly down from the nut on the pipe
