2008 Vauxhall Vivaro no power when engine warm

Car: Vauxhall Vivaro
Year: 2008
Variant: 1.9dti
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
the vivaro starts everytime and idles fine, when the engine is cold it runs ok just a little power loss but when the tempreture gauge gets to 4 bars on the display it just dies, it doesnt cut out just coughs and splutters with no power at all sometimes the engine management light comes on sometimes the light that looks like a coil comes on. any ideas what the problem might be two different garages have had it and cant pinpoint a problem they must be useless. the injectors have been tested and are fine could it be the egr valve or a boost pressure sensor? any ideas please thanks.

Changed the fuel filter ? Have you had a diagnostic scan carried out ?

These can be problematic,
bare minimum diagnostics system just has to be dealer qualIty,
generic scan tools just aren't accurate so Vauxhall scan tool like "TECH II" ARE NEEDED.
If your previous garages didn't have these then i'm not surprised by their lack of success.
But anyway,
clearly it's temperature related,
so disconnect the coolant temperature sensor and try running it,
The ECU will just substitute a value from it's memory but this will generate a fault code,
What were looking for is a change in status,
is it any different?
Though even this might not be conclusive,
most faults I've found on these have been wiring/connector faults.
It needs scanned with the right scanner..

the above question sounds like the same as mine , the van was stood up four months in cold conditions but ran perfect prior to that, reconnected battery after recharge, now it starts and idles perfectly but has no acceleration like before.
it slowly gathers speed then roars away after 2500 rpm
within 3 miles the glow plug light appears and if it is going @50mph that is as fast as it will go until 4-5 mins when light goes out it gets to high speeds but is sluggish uphill empty or full
