Not start

I've had this van now for about six months and it's spent more time off road than on I was coming home from work and it made a splutter then cut out this happened three times then I got home and it's not started since I've had a guy look at it and he says it's electrical can any one help me on this please could it be the timing slipped every time you put fault code reader on the van it comes up with different code every single time

If the guy who said it was electrical , ask him what the fault is then ? Need to rectify fault codes also .You dont say what engine ? petrol or diesel ?
