Limp mode on start up

Any suggestions? 2006 vivaro 1.9 couple of times I've started it up and it goes into limp mode , no fault lights come up.
Switch it off for a couple of mins and then restart and let it idle for 5 mins then it's ok.
Had no other problems with it once it's up and running.......any ideas????

If it's a diesel and not been done for a while , change fuel filter .
