Intermittent wiper not working properly switch then on no movement put forward pressure on stork they work take pressure off stork they stop anywhere on screen but if you listen you can hear the relay switch but nothing until you put pressure on stork contact cleaned stork still no joy !!!!!!!!

I'd say try a different stalk

i had exactly same problem , need a new stalk , part inside arches out and burns away, I added blob of solder and its cured it so all work perfectly but for how long
