Lack of power.

2008 Vauxhall Vivaro
Car: Vauxhall Vivaro
Year: 2008
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
The power surge is very hit and miss with a lot of vibration at low revs. Better when cold and gets worse as it warms up.Loses power on inclines but runs smooth and with more power on the flat and down hill. No lights showing had a full service. Checked air flow regulator. Found air filter breather pipe off and not through the bulkhead. Sorted this and some improvement.Runs better at higher revs and has improved slightly today after just checking pipes etc for tightness. Any suggestions appreciated or is a diagnostic the next step. Had one injector done a few weeks before this all started.Any connection.Something not put back right or tight enough.??Thank you. Phil

These can have injector harness faults, the air filter box can press down on the harness and cause faults/wire chafing.
Did you have the injector programed into the ECU?

Thanks for the reply. Not sure about the injector and the ECU.? Looking more closely at the turbo boost sensor. Taken it off and cleaned the small sponge filter. Runs better but not perfect.Without the filter it runs rough. Does the small screwed tube in the centre of the sensor and filter allow for any adjustment to the air flow for instance. I think this is the problem.Phil.
