2007 Vauxhall Vivaro gears

Car: Vauxhall Vivaro
Year: 2007
Variant: 1800 PANEL VAN
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
I HAVE JUST HAD A NEW HYDRAULIC CLUTCH FITTED,THE GEARS ARE STIFF WHEN CHANGING INTO 1,3,5 AND REVERSE.
BUT NOT IN 2,4 AND 6 GEARS, COULD THIS BE A GEAR BOX PROBLEM, OR IS THE CLUTCH CABLES NOT FITTED RIGHT

First off check the gear box oil level.
then down where the cable connect to the spindle shafts enter the gearbox not the one with the big weight spray wd40 onto the spindle of the other smaller one then work the spindle in and out.
/This gear selector spindle is pretty high up on the box and doesn't really get a good oil feed, and I have had a couple in where the gear box is supposed to be shot,on strip down the only thing I could find was this partialy seized selector shaft.
Now whether this will work without strip down I don't really know but for the cast of a can of scoosh it's got to be wortha shot
